IRANIAN
ADMINISTRATION’S POLICY TO MAKE PERSIAN WITH NEW BANKNOTES
The Iranian
Government suffering from the disease of “LOGOPHOBIA” is
continuing its policy to ‘suppose nonexistent” of the
nations which are different in nationality.
The bank
notes of 50 thousand Riyals have been the latest example of
the insidious policies pursued. The administration put the 5
thousand Tumans ( banknotes of 50 thousand riyals ) in
circulation in February in parallel with the recent increase
in inflation and the devaluation of the national currency.
The bank notes of 50 thousand Riyals which have been issued
by the Central Bank and have had the saying “even if the
science and information are in the Pleiades, the Persians
will know them” on its back have hurt the feelings of the
public. For this expression which has allegedly been stated
by the Prophet Mohammad supposes most of the people
nonexistent. This attitude having no connection with reality
and supposing that all of the people are Persian has been
reacted severely especially by the South Azerbaijanis and
people have decided not to use “50 thousand bank notes”
Particularly the shopkeepers in the great settlement units
such as Tabriz and Ardabil request one and 2 thousand bank
notes from their customers who wish to pay in cash and warn
not using bank notes of 5 thousand Tumans
As a result
of the boycotting against those bank notes, great amount of
money has been accumulated in the bank. The bank officials
informed Tehran of this development, which caused them
difficulty and Tehran made initiatives to take back the bank
notes of 50 thousand riyals in the safes of the bank. The
banking sector, especially in the states of Azerbaijan, East
Azerbaijan and Ardabil, had a widespread expectation for
those bank notes which are received with protests to be
taken out of circulation de facto although they are not
taken out of circulation across the country.
It is
stated among the people that “Persian chauvinism conducted
in a planned way by all the previous Iranian governments has
reached its peak in the Ahmadinejad term and the
discriminatory remark on the new bank notes is and
indication of the fact that the administrators who are
expected to represent the entire Iran suppose that only the
Persians live in the country. On the other hand; some
prominent Ayatollahs of Iran made statement that “the
Prophet Mohammad had no such hadith” regarding the saying on
the banknote of 50 thousand Riyals. Thus these statements
indicate that how those who are in power in Iran abuse our
religious feelings, how they resort to every kind of trick
to achieve their aims, how they politicize the religion by
falsifying even the Hadith of the Prophet.
Yet, it
should not be forgotten that “it is a great mistake to
assess the Turks of Iran, the main entities that make Iran
what it is within the framework of the Persian Chauvinism,
an outdated ideology and to suppose them non existing.
Similarly the other ethnic entities in the country should
not be overlooked. For, Arabs, Turkmans, Kurds and Baluchis
as well as South Azerbaijanis live in Iran. Such an attitude
supposing all of the people as Persian is a great injustice.
Everybody
knows very well that the sole owner of Iran is not Persians.
Moreover, half of this country consist of Azerbaijanis. It
is generally accepted rule by the entire world that “state
administration requires a just attitude and the
administration should be at an equal distance to each of the
entities comprising it. It should be known that the
administrations that are not just towards their own entities
are short-lived and they are destined to get lost in the
darkness of the history.
