WHAT IS THIS LITTLE GIRL WAITING FOR?

Did you see the picture? Do you have any idea what this pretty little girl is waiting for? Yes…An execution will take place in a short while and our girl has been brought as a spectator? What in the world could this little girl have anything to do in this corrupted place? Could it be that they have seen traces of a future murderer in her being and brought her here to edify her? Or did they wish to incline her towards the right path by making her watch the execution scene? What happened to our values and logic? But then who will be responsible for the bad traces leaving a mark on this girl’s soul in the future?

The public, bored of not having a leisure pursuit, gather around the execution area and with a horrid anticipation and appetite enjoy watching someone among them being hung and dying in agony above them. Yes, as the execution market is heated up nowadays, people are racing to watch someone hanging from a scaffold with dangling limbs to run away from their tiresome lives even for a couple of minutes. Watching such execution scenes are being advocated by Tehran’s Deputy Prosecutor who claims that such instances are useful in that they prevent crimes and murders while taking the spectators a step closer to the divine light. It should not come as a surprise if watching executions, arm cutting or stoning are said to cure certain diseases soon!!!

I recall the last words of the French Queen Marie-Antoinette before she was guillotined: “Under these circumstances, two things make me happy. First, luckily I have a thin neck. Second, my executioner is well experienced in his profession. Therefore, I shall not feel much pain.” But this is not France and those bodies hanging from Iran’s skies are not the French Queen’s. They call those “Arazel and Owbash” and their felony is claimed to be the violation of the honor of the public, robbery, theft, murder and so on. But no one is able to know their name or watch their court hearings…

Our Islamic regime, which has based its roots in the display of power, bloodshed, death and darkness, is setting up the scaffolds, this time to execute young people brought up and educated by itself. Today, those beaten up, insulted and executed cold-bloodedly under the name of “Arazel and Owbash” are the very same people the regime has brought up and sometimes used for its own purposes! Why does not anyone know the names of the executioned? Why are their proceedings held in private and why are they not permitted to hire a lawyer? Haven’t they violated lives and property of the public? Then why is there so much fear to lay all this out in the open?

The real aim behind the regime’s such practices is to present death and murder as an ordinary deed and furthermore to scare the public. Ahmadinejad, who does not have many hopes for the future, is trying to spread this fear across the country and to establish the sovereignty of his own circle. We all have fears for the future of Iran… Our real worry is not the bombs of the US or the west. I am concerned about something different which has entered into most souls.  In truth, problems such as drugs, increase in divorces and poverty do not worry me much… The real worry of our society should be “violence” which many of us have almost become addicted to.
