IRANIAN ECONOMY IS THREATENING AHMADINEJAD…

The Iranian public states that the economic policies which are not scientific at all have brought the country to a point which is difficult to have a way out, expresses at every opportunity its expectation for immediate solution for the negative economic conditions and worries that problems will aggravate. The circles sensitive to the issue continue their calls to the administration by pronouncing that the public on the street is having serious problems with high cost of living, the clergymen receive serious complaints on this issue, the declaration of the hard conditions experienced by the public should not be perceived as a stance against the Government.

Meanwhile, it does not go unnoticed that Ahmadinejad administration which has to admit the current situation and yet tries not to assume the responsibility for it while accepting the realities, resorts to charging the organizations, bodies and officials under his control and the illegal mafia formations which he has to struggle himself. The speeches delivered in the provincial trips of the President Ahmadinejad try to cover the negative conditions of the country’s economy through accusations against the state organizations and the formations which have gained power domestically, however such rhetoric brings about the intensive reactions and criticisms by the economists…

It is noteworthy that rejecting the criticisms of the large circles of public and economists all the time and advocating that the economy is on the good track  Ahmadinejad for the first time in his three year rule has stated that his mistakes regarding the economic policies have “resulted from the shortcomings of some cabinet members who disobey his directions.” These statements of the President are assessed as baseless and intangible claims based on accusations.

However Ahmadinejad has resorted to dismissing some ministers including the Minister of Economy and Finance which he had already appointed himself together with a great number of administrators under his control.

Reactions against the President appear in both the press-broadcast organs that are both reformist and against Ahmadinejad. It is aired in the publications and broadcasts that “although Ahmadinejad has completed most of his term of office, he has not brought any benefit to the government performance, he has insisted on his populist administration conception based on slogan and continued uttering his slogans far from reality which enabled him to get elected to the position of President, he does not accept any criticisms due to his over self-confidence, he does not take the views of experts into consideration, he perceives even the most constructive criticisms and suggestions as plots against him and insists on his policies which have turned out to be wrong in practice.”
