PROFESSORS AND STUDENTS
For a long time we are hearing the voices of
students in Iran due to various reasons. Every year
thousands of students try to call the attention of the
government and international community to their requests
such as freedom, implementation of individual and social
laws and fight with despotism. With the institutionalization
of despotism and making this despotism official, new
phenomena rise in the universities. The recent example to
this situation is oppressions, misuses and harassments
against students in Zanjan University. The audio visuals of
harassments in the said university were shown to public via
web sites and blocks and it is now clear that the students
are right. It is a fact that if those students were not
right, this incident would result in resorting to force and
violence.
It is very rare thing that a professor
supports students in Iran. For example, none of the
professors defended the harassed and oppressed girl student
in Zanjan University but it should be known that when the
university administration expels a professor from the
university thousands of students raise their voice and make
protests.

In the universities professors and students
should be in a unified and a friendly environment. In the
old times it was easy for professors and students to be
friends but now it is hard to talk about such a friendship.
What happened to our professors? Why do they keep silent?
Why are they so isolated from the students? Undoubtedly one
of the reasons for this is the activity of intelligence
units within the universities. To be more clearly, the
administration of the universities are totally in the hands
of intelligence forces.
The Basij youth, who have worked for
intelligence for along time and then destroyed the future of
thousands of young people, were sent to universities and
even to the universities abroad and then were given
employment in the universities as so-called “professors”. Do
you want an example? Our President Ahmadinejad. He was a
professor in a university four years ago with his ideas,
actions, policies and his waiting for Imam Zaman! So what do
we, young people, expect from these universities?
