PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS ARE FULL OF SECRETS
Lately
there are talks regarding Mir Hoseyin Mousavi, who was the
Prime Minister in the period of Khomeini and in the war, is
preparing to be a candidate in the Presidential Elections.
According to the rumors Mousavi wants Khatami’s final
decision immediately on candidacy. The accuracy of this
news, which is broadcasted by the “Tabnak” site that is in
favor of the Republican Guard, is not important. The
important thing is the expected result of the news.
The main
purpose of this news is to make “Khatami to take an action
and determine a route before it’s too late”. This way the
extreme conservative front will designate its own route. In
the meantime, there are some questions in minds: Will this
front support Ahmedinejad again or use other pawns?
The
presidential candidacy of Mir Hoseyin Mousavi could make our
spiritual leader restless! It is known for everyone that
there is a sharp competition and dispute between Khamanei
and Mousavi for years. When Khomeini was the leader and
Khamanei was the President, Mousevi was the Prime Minister
and did not accept the authority of the present leader in
anyway. That’s why Mir Hoseyin Mousavi is like an alarm bell
for Khamanei because Mousavi’s measures for the solution of
economical problems contradict with Khamanei’s ideas.
Mousavi supports the state control of economy and a real
fight against unearned income gainers. Mousavi, who is a
civil engineer, has close relationship with Republican
Guards Commanders and especially war period commanders. This
could make the Spiritual Leader uneasy.
