NOBODY
BELIEVES THE CLAIM ABOUT
‘HARASSMENT IN HORMOZ’

It seems as
if raising the tension became the need of the Bush
administration in their last month in the White House. The
made up scenario regarding Iranian marine forces threatened
to attack the American ships paved the way for the Middle
East visit of the US President Bush.
It is known
that this incident was nothing more than a routine procedure
for a force that ensures the security in its own waters.
American navy ships, which sail in the Persian Gulf, know
about the laws in effect very well and they acted as
stipulated by these laws many times. The question is the US
intention to incite media fuss and call the incidents as a
provocation by threatening with dangerous developments. The
measures that Iran took are in accordance with the
stipulated mission regarding the international laws on the
control of the straits. It is not logical that the party
which is determined to ensure the security to raise tension
but the US which act against the law and came across the
ocean with its fleets. Therefore US will gain nothing from
the scenario regarding the harassment in Hormoz strait and
will not support the success of the regional visit of Bush.
This will not extend the office period of the warrior Bush
administration that is in its last days. Bush lost its
chance to make up for his mistakes that caused a million to
die.
