Semi-American Advisor of Ahmadinejad
Our President Ahmadinejad
appointed Seyyad Hamid Molana, who is considered as
semi-American, as his advisor last year. Molana is the
director and the founder of the “International Communication
Program”, the headquarters of which are located in the USA .
Hamid Molana, who was born in Tabriz in 1936, completed his
primary and secondary education in the capital of Southern
Azerbaijan . Molana, who won a scholarship in the USA
through Mesbahzadeh, then director of the newspaper Keyhan,
went to this country to study. He commenced his education in
the Economics Department of North Western University and
then acquired master’s and PhD degrees in the department of
international relations.
Another hallmark about Molana is
that he is one of the founders of the international
relations discipline and education which was first
introduced to the world in 1968. Regarded as a doyen in this
field, Molana was not known well by the public before the
presidency of Ahmadinejad. The public started to get
acquainted with him through his popularity that begins with
the process of the 9.th presidency and his
assignment couple of months ago as the president’s advisor.
In fact the greatest reason behind his recognition is “his
interesting ideas and his support to Ahmadinejad”. Hamid
Molana, who is ideologically under the influence of Ali
Shariati, wishes the Islamic revolution to spread throughout
the region just as Khomeini thinks. The individual, who
after the revolution, had come several times to Iran , has
written articles in the newspapers such as Keyhan.
With the backing of the
President, the Speaker of the Parliament and the Minister of
Culture, the “Molana Cultural Foundation” has been
established recently. A place has been allocated for this in
Vanak district/Tehran. Shortly after, Molana has fortified
his contacts with Imam Sadegh University , the Ministry of
Foreign Affairs, the Council of Ahl Beyt, the newspaper
Keyhan, IRNA, the Ministry of Culture and Majlas Research
Center by acting very quickly.
It is known a fact that
Ahmadinejad’s speech in Colombia University , which is
regarded as a political scandal, is one of the projects of
Hamid Molana. What is Ahmadinejad planning by inducting this
individual considered as a semi-American? What sort of
contribution will Molana make to both sides in Iranian-US
relations during the 10th presidential
election process? …Although he defends himself by saying “I
have lived for 40 years in the USA , I have preserved my
national and religious identity”, it occurs that he may be
“the secret hand of some foreigners”.
