I want such an Iran…
I want such an Iran…; which is poverty-free,
pain-free, stranger to suffer, stranger to psychological
problems, stranger to poverty problems, stranger to anxiety
of existence…
I want such an Iran… far from torture, far
from oppression… such an Iran where you don’t have fear of
death because of expressing your opinions… an Iran where you
can criticize anything… an Iran where talking tongues are
not cut off.
I want such an Iran… which is dictator-free…
an Iran free of anyone who think they own everybody and
everything… an Iran of all languages, races, people… an Iran
of equalities…
I want such an Iran… which is free of
theocracy and where it is free to practice all religions and
sects… an Iran where opinions are not oppressed… an Iran
where religion is not a tool of oppression, an Iran which
breaks free from its chains… an Iran which is free to elect…
I want such an Iran… which is free of deceit
and hypocrisy… an Iran stranger to forgery… an Iran where
personal interests are not superior to honesty… an Iran that
does not fear to be honest…
I want such an Iran… which is crime-free,
disturbance-free… an Iran where they prevent the ones who
commit corruption and forgery under the disguise of having
it all… an Iran where they respect the wishes and talents
and where they do not accept perversion…
I want such an Iran… which is far from
unemployment…a place where young people are not tired of
life… a place where young people wish they were not born… an
Iran where young people are not punished because of the
things they do… an Iran where they do not consider the
things young people do as a “crime”… an Iran where young
people did not forget talking… I want a young Iran…
I want such an Iran… where women are not
oppressed, where there are not discriminatory laws, where
women have equal rights with men, where religious and
cultural values are not used to punish women, where women
can act freely, where children can walk in the parks freely,
where people do not choose to commit suicide because of
oppression… I want a free Iran…
I want an Iran like this… When these things
all come true, this country would be a better place to live.
Do you think my dream is that far away?...
