THIS IS NOT A WAR OF
JEWELERS...EVERYTHING IS REAL!
Fierce rivalries continue in Iranian political arena.
President
Ahmadinejad compelled Intelligence Minister Heidar Moslahi
to resign.
Khamanei supported Moslehi and did not accept his
resignation. There
has been no news from Ahmadinejad who took offence at this
situation
for six days now. Being sulky, Ahmadinejad is stamping his
feet like
kids for dismissal of Moslehi and Saeed Jalili, Secretary of
the
Supreme National Security Council, and for Rahim Mashaie’s
remaining
as his aide... Majles Shuray Islami is trying to obtain a
quorum
so as to be able to submit an interpellation about
Ahmadinejad.
Do these incidents constitute “a jewelers’ war or a real
war?”...Have
the leading figures of the country been tangling with each
other, or
are these contentions aimed to deceive and distract the
public?...Where will these developments drift the
country?...The
contentions between Khamanei’s mafia and Ahmadinejad’s team
bring
along concerns together with many questions.
Negative economic conditions in Iran are triggering this
war. Having a
zero economic growth rate, a more than 30 percent of
unemployment
rate, an urgent need of investments amounting to 200 billion
Dollars,
and a public getting poorer day by day, Iran’s incompetent
rulers try
to find a way in harassing each other. What is more, today’s
crisis
has nothing common with the earlier ones.
In crisis periods, it is a preferred method to play down
decision-making bodies and to exalt those who have
unquestioning
obedience to orders. Khamenei is also trying to keep power
brokers
under control. But now the situation is different, because
the head of
the executive body is contending the leader.
Those who have got their own share of the dining table
financed by
public money for years have also unconditionally obeyed king
Khamanei’s orders. Vali Faghih has silenced everyone for 20
years,
it has silenced Rafsanjany, Khatemy, reformists and even the
RGC...The
RGC has up to now instated or deposed those whom the leader
wanted to
be. But now it stands in the way of Khamenei like a
wall...Cracks in
the RGC are also affecting the developments. Currently the
RGC is
split into three: first group includes senior commanders who
were
appointed by Khamenei and owe everything to him; second
group includes
those who are loyal to Ahmadinejad and have become wealthy
thanks to
him; and third group includes soldiers who always applaud
the winning
party...
The leader, who is aware of this split inside the RGC, is
concerned
about the possibility of a departure by commanders who count
on him.
This concern is indeed a rare trump card for Ahmadinejad...Ahmedinejad
can gain control with a military coup at any moment with
this trump
card in his hands. Khamenei, who makes use of all these
factors, is
cunningly trying to eliminate Ahmadinejad with “a bloodless
surgical
operation in the regime’s body”. This is not within every
brave man’s
power...
If a decision has been taken for the survival of the regime,
this
operation is inevitable. However, the patient has also lost
the
strength to overcome this surgical operation. In short, this
patient
is destined to death and it will take away lots of things
while
releasing his last breath...
